Results are private and confidential and will be directly provided to you, and only you, via your Patient Portal. You must sign into the portal to access your results. Share them whenever and with whomever you choose. You can print your results and give a copy to any healthcare provider if you wish. Please note, some positive tests are required by law to be reported to the state. However, no one is able to access this data, not even a spouse or family member. The data is simply collected to track the prevalence of new infections and for public health reasons. Only you will know your results. We encourage you to seek treatment from a healthcare professional, if necessary.
Who do I speak with about my results?
What are the known side effects of semaglutide and tirzepatide?
The most common side effects of Semaglutide are:
- Nausea
- Loss of appetite
- Light-headed or dizziness
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Stomach pain
- Constipation
Where are the semaglutide and tirzepatide compounded?
The semaglutide and tirzepatide are compounded here in the United States at an accredited compounding and specialty pharmacy. Both are US sourced pure base forms of the medications from an FDA approved manufacturer. Both are free of salts and problem-causing excipients such as dyes, sugar, lactose, or alcohol. Mobile Lab Test Now is not affiliated with the pharmacy other than using it as an alternative source for affordable weight loss medication, therefore usage of their product will be at your own discretion.
How will I administer semaglutide or tirzepatide?
Both semaglutide and tirzepatide are once weekly self administered injections. Administer on the same day each week, at any time of day, with or without meals. If changing the day of administration, allow at least 72 hours between 2 doses. Inject subcutaneously in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. The medication will be supplied in a multi dose vial. You will be supplied syringes and needles. The pharmacy rep will walk you through how to pull the medication out of the vial and how many units to inject yourself each week.
How long will I need to be on semaglutide or tirzepatide?
Generally speaking it will take around 12 weeks of continuous use to notice improvement. The amount of time one is on the medication depends on how long it takes them to reach their goal weight and how much weight they need to lose. The optimal duration of use for both semaglutide and tirzepatide is unknown. You may regain weight if you stop the drug, so it is important to make changes in your lifestyle as well. Some may be able to maintain their weight loss after discontinuing the medication and others will need to stay on the maintenance dose to maintain their results. Abruptly discontinuing either medication can lead to uncontrolled blood sugar levels, which can have adverse effects on your health. It is recommended to gradually decrease the dosage and taper off when looking to discontinue the medication.
